Kate-Ann asked:

I watched a special about the recent technological innovations of Japan on the Travel channel.

Why is it that Japan is always the first to get the coolest and latest gadgets and technology? Why does it take the US and other countries more time to finally catch on?

Japan has a cool feature on cell phones that allows them to make purchases from the vending machine! There is a chip on the back on the cell phone. They touch the chip to the pad on the machine and they can get their candy, chips, soda,or juice.

That is too cool!!
Why isn’t the United States in a hurry to place a chip on the back of our cell phones so that we can purchase candy, chips, and beverages from the vending machine?
This invention would come in handy.

WHat if you beome really hungry but you don’t have any change or cash on you to purchase something from the vending machine on your job.
Having a chip on the back of our cell phones so that we could purchase from a vending machine would come in handy for in case we don’t have change or cash to purchase something from a vending machine.

Tokyo,Japan has sleeping cubicles for when a man can’t make it to his home. They are $40 a night. Its just a cubicle with a bed.The bed takes up the whole cubicle. You can’t stand up in the cubicle. Its sitting room only. There is a radio, microwave, and tv in the space. You just lay or sit on the bed in the cubicle and watch tv,listen to music, and relax.

Something like this would come in handy in the United States.Sometimes people get stranded.Plus the US has more of a problem with homelessness. This would be a nice thing for the homeless only it should be cheaper because $40 would be steep for a homeless person.

Why isn’t the technology thats available in Japan, available in the United States or other countries?
Why is the United States always the last to receive cool technological innovations?
